(You do not need to be a baseball expert to enter or to win one or more of the contests below.
In fact, most of the winners from last year would not describe themselves as particularly knowledgeable about the great American National Pastime.
Consider entering and also passing on these contests to your friends, foes and/or others interested in baseball. If they win, you win too)
MillersTime 2010 Contests
Contest #1 – MLB Teams play 162 games during the regular season. Last year the Yankees season record was 103-59, and the Sox record was 95-67.
Predict the regular season won-loss records for both teams in 2010.
Tie-breaker: What will be the main reason the Yankees or Sox have the better record – pitching, hitting, defense, managing, who A-Rod is dating, how much money the team spent on players, etc.?
Prize: Two tickets to one game of either the American League or National League Divisional playoffs this year. Winner’s choice.

Contest #2 - Red Sox and Yankees play eight of their 18 scheduled games before the All Star break July 12.
Predict the won-loss record of these eight games (i.e., Sox-6-2 or Yankees 2-6, etc.).
Tie-breaker: Pick total number of runs each team will score over the eight games.
Prize: One ticket to one Red-Sox-Yankee game in the second half of this year’s season (following the All Star break). Site of the game will be dependent upon which park I am able to get tickets. Most likely, I will attend the game with the winner (assuming I am on speaking terms with the said person).
